A good degree no longer guarantees a job – this is the conclusion of Ernst & Young, who are leading employers of graduates in their international accountancy and consultancy business. They have researched into the strengths of 1000 UK students and found that only 25% of those they interviewed had the necessary skill to work for them. Students are good at making friends and cracking jokes but poor at managing time and taking risks, the survey suggests.
